October 2018 - Childcare Voucher Scheme

Childcare voucher salary-sacrifice schemes will close to new entrants from October 2018 but can continue for existing users. The new tax-free childcare scheme does not involve employers-individual apply themselves.

The draft Trade Union (deduction of union subscriptions from wages in the public sector) Regulations 2017 implement new arrangements for check off for public sector employees. The check off process allows union subscriptions to be paid by an employer direct to a union on behalf of it employees via salary deductions.
